CUNY & Nature
The City University of New York (CUNY) over the past 157 years has reveled in the fact that it continues to provide a quality of education that is both nationally and internationally acclaimed. Most of CUNY’s fame, however, lies the fact that this institution has incessantly endeavored to keep abreast with political and social climates as well as global trends. The current goal, by many of our world leaders is to foster notions of sustainability among the global population. CUNY's role, therefore, is to equip the student population with the intellectual as well as practical tools needed, so that they will be wise contributors to our global village. With programs in the degree as well as non-degree fields, CUNY has afforded those who wish to gain interest and those who wish to effect change the opportunity to efficiently do so.
