The CUNY IVE Leadership Program begins its sixth installment of its program on Friday February 1st, 2008; an event that will be hosted at Baruch College and will provide various CUNY students with an opportunity to participate in a well renowned leadership program that will permit the student to develop and sharpen their current leadership skills by identifying a project idea.
The CUNY IVE Leadership Program has many benefits for all of the participants. Not only does it provide the students with an ability to develop their own leadership ideas, but it also provides the opportunity for the students to share experiences with students all across the City University of New York. This unique aspect of the IVE program achieves the chancellor’s mission of making the City University a city wide learning environment where students are not limited to the campuses but rather learn from every available resource located in CUNY.
The program also offers students the opportunity to meet and interact with other students as well as many well renowned business leaders who will serve from whom the students can learn as they embark on the journey of life, which commences with a student’s collegiate education.
The Kick-Off event will serve as an opportunity for students to become involved in the leadership program, a program that seeks to contribute to the student’s learning throughout college by allowing the student to create a unique leadership idea, develop a methodology to solve the idea and learn to works with other in the implementation of the idea.
The Kick-Off event will be held on Friday February 1st, 2008 at 9:00 AM in Baruch College’s Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship, Suite 2 – 140. 55 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10010.
