Online Sales Calls Connect Virtual Enterprise Students from Three Continents

On May 4th, 2011 the CUNY Institute for Virtual Enterprise hosted its Spring 2011 Online Trading Day. The event, which spanned over three different sessions, gave virtual student firms the opportunity to showcase their companies, products and services to other student firms using the GotoMeeting® online meeting technology. The presentations were supported by PowerPoint presentations of their businesses and online stores. Following the presentations all participating VE students were encouraged to use their virtual credit cards and purchase from the respective stores on IVE’s virtual economy at www.ivefinancial.com. During the course of the day a total of 29 presentations featured virtual student businesses from Finland, Ghana, New York, Ohio and Arizona. The event agenda, online stores and commercials can be viewed here
