IVE Students Attend Sustainable Operations Summit in NYC

Courtesy of the CUNY IVE Smart Pitch Challenge and its partner IBM, four CUNY students were able to attend the Sustainable Operations Summit of 2012. The conference draws a diverse crowd of top business, government and civil society leaders each year to share best practices in sustainability and showcase the latest products and services for industry and commercial consumers. Lex Dreister, Elischia Fludd, Ethan Janney and Santiago Perez represented CUNY at the conference. The two-day conference included key note addresses by Don Cheadle, United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) Ambassador and former President Bill Clinton, a networking cruise and tours of NYC green areas.
