Int. IVE Stock Market Conference, April 5 On April 5th, 2006 The Institute for Virtual Enterprise (IVE) will host the first IVE Stock Market Conference for network participants. Virtual student firms have been participating in a four-month stock market competition after having taken their firms 'public' in an IPO process. Firms and students invested in both virtual and real stocks constructing a combined virtual and real portfolio. The conference will evaluate how the students and their firms have done through individual and firm presentations. The highest profit margins will be awarded certificates and prizes. Face to face, participants will include students from Kingsborough, California, Denmark, and Austria. Additional participants will be linked via technology in California, Europe and Asia.
