IVE / SAGE Global EXPO, May 26

On Friday, May 26th, 2006 Kingsborough Community College in association with the Institute for Virtual Enterprise, will be hosting the highly anticipated collaboration between IVE and the Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE)

This new 'Partnership in Education' will encompass a three part program.

1.  KCC will be hosting the USA SAGE Competition that will include several presentations where teams will be judged on the creativity and innovation of their yearlong projects regarding entrepreneurial endeavors.

2.  Concurrently, the Annual IVE Case Study Competition will be held. This years case focuses on the Port Authority, its General Manager of Aviation and John F. Kennedy International Airport and will encourage students to discuss and analyze the issues facing the airport and its stakeholders, the aviation industry and how to prioritize among competing interests. The following downloads are available on our webpage:
JFK Case Study
Competition rules and instructions

3.  Lastly, the Institute for Virtual Enterprise will be hosting its bi-annual IVE Trading Day, which will include participation from the SAGE HS programs and several of the Virtual Enterprise firms. At the conclusion of the event, awards will be given to the firms that have the 'Highest Gross Revenue' and the 'Highest Volume of Sales' as tallied by the use of the MarketMaker software.
