How to lead, plan and manage your career.

CUNY student leaders representing eight CUNY campuses attended our latest edition of the IVE/CIT Leadership Roundtable at CIT on December 7th, 2006. The topic of the night was How to lead, plan and manage your career. Mr. Stephen Leavenworth, Senior VP at CIT, talked about his personal experiences as a professional and how he successfully climbed the corporate ladder. He compared his professional development to the building of a home and highlighted the importance of a solid foundation as the most important part when embarking on the path of a professional life and career. The presentation was followed by an inspiring discussion about how to be successful in life. The CUNY student leaders shared their views about the importance of school, work and family, and how they are planning to be successful in life. The students also received an overview about the CUNY/IVE Leadership Program which will kick-off in late January 2007. To view pictures from the Leadership Roundtable click here
