Student Stock Market Competition Starts Feb. 1st

This year will be the second time that IVE offers students from around the world the opportunity to participate in our second IVE Student Stock Market Competition. Trading will start on February 1, 2007. The competition is for high school and college students (or entire classes) who are interested in financial literacy, economics and/or stock markets. The competition can be easily incorporated into existing courses or assigned as extra credit work. Every participating student will receive a trading budget to invest in virtual and real stock. Winners of the competition will be students who made the smartest investment choices by increasing the values of their stock portfolios.

Last year's competition was features on CBS Moneywatch.

If you have any questions please contact Christoph Winkler at cwinkler@kbcc.cuny.edu.

3-Trading will stop March 27, 2007.
